How to Turn a Window into a High-Def TV

ClearView Innovations has developed a new type of window … a window that also function as a high-definition TV. The addition to the company’s Hidden Reflections Series, its Window TV is a translucent HD display built into a fixed pane window. HiddenReflections Window TVx come in 22”, 32”, 42”, 50”, 55”, 65” and 82” screen sizes with a matching window size.

“The addition of a ClearView HiddenReflections Window TV will instantly improve the status of any residential property.” “For years we’ve made TVs disappear by turning into mirrors; now our Window TV simply disappears,” says Brian Walter, president of ClearView.

HiddenReflections Window TVs are easy to operate and install like a standard window; 1080p and 4k options are available, and both come with a remote input box into which video sources connect via HDMI, USB or VGA. With a simple press of a button, the TV image appears on the clear glass window. Press the button again and the window goes back to being a clear window.

“We’re in the process of making the screen flip and reverse the image. So say you installed our window by the patio it would now double as your outdoor TV,” Walter adds.

HiddenReflections Window TVs, equipped with new OLED technology, are slated to ship in 6 months.
