Pella Corporation is expanding its Insynctive smart solutions by offering the option of building security sensors into Pella Designer Series windows and patio doors and Architect Series and Pella entry doors, direct from the factory.
“Since 2015, when we launched Insynctive, our goal has been to make the lives of homeowners easier and the spaces they dwell smarter,” says Jennifer Veenstra, Insynctive product specialist. “Now, by offering the option of built-in security sensors, we’ve hidden the technology and equipment that help homeowners eliminate those ‘Did I remember to…?’ moments, all while not detracting from the beauty of their home.”
By choosing to have Pella’s sensors built directly into their products, the beauty of the view outside or a homeowner’s inside space takes center stage. Insynctive security sensors let homeowners know at a glance while at home if their windows and doors are secure via the Status Indicator, which lights up if windows, patio doors, and/or entry doors are open or closed and if patio and entry doors are locked or unlocked.
“We know our customers care about the beauty of their homes and the products they put into them,” says Veenstra. “Customers can choose to have Pella’s Insynctive sensors built directly into the window or door; not limiting the hardware options, allowing us to deliver an innovative, forward-thinking solution for our customers without interfering with the aesthetics of their homes.”
You can also monitor your Insynctive security sensors from virtually anywhere with a compatible home automation system and a smart device. One of Pella’s more than 200 showrooms is best place to start to learn more about Insynctive from a design expert.
“We know home automation is still a new concept for many homeowners and they may not be ready to outfit their entire home,” added Veenstra. “Pella’s windows and doors can be prepped from the factory so sensors can be purchased and easily installed at a later time, without replacing the entire window or door. Or homeowners can still buy separate, universal Insynctive sensors which can easily mount to the frame and be visible on any window or door.”
